The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry

Enhancing digital presence with multi-sites

The Challenge Square Corners

The Challenge

ABPI's original corporate website had a number of issues including complex and unreliable publishing, poor user experience and inconsistent site stability.

Additionally, the old site was based on the SharePoint platform, which Microsoft no longer recommends for external-facing websites.

Strategic Retainer Square Corners

The Approach

Build a scalable and stable Umbraco Cloud supported CMS, which would be capable of supporting the ABPI's long-term goal of bringing their 5 websites onto a single streamlined digital estate.

We consolidated several different websites, including the main Corporate and Schools sites and several microsites onto a single platform - Umbraco.

The Impact Square Corners

The Impact

Now they have everything consolidated into one instance, the ABPI can now adapt and re-publish their content quickly and effectively - essential as the voice of the pharmaceutical industry in the UK.

ClerksWell works as the ABPI's strategic and delivery partner, with a six-year partnership (and counting) now under our belts.

We are thrilled to announce that ClerksWell were awarded the Web Excellence Award for Accessibility 2024, with The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) for their homepage transformation project.
