Web Excellence Award for Website Productivity – Mantrac Group
Our partnership with Mantrac Group earned the Web Excellence Award for Productivity, celebrating our ability to deliver digital solutions that drive operational efficiency and elevate user experience.
Mantrac Group, a leading distributor of Caterpillar machinery and power systems across three continents, partnered with ClerksWell to upgrade its digital platform from Umbraco 8 to 13. The result is a faster, more secure, and scalable website that supports Mantrac’s global ambitions. The new platform empowers marketing teams to deliver consistent messaging more efficiently, while simplifying content operations across regions.
For customers in construction, mining, agriculture, and energy, this transformation goes beyond a visual refresh. It delivers faster access to information, clearer navigation, and smarter tools, making it easier to source equipment, explore services, and manage operations. With improved performance, localisation, and usability, the new site reflects Mantrac’s commitment to delivering a seamless, reliable, and user-focused digital experience.
Web Excellence Award for Accessibility – Smart Energy GB
We also received the Web Excellence Award for Accessibility for our transformative work with Smart Energy GB, an independent, not-for-profit organisation that helps households and small businesses across Great Britain understand and benefit from smart meters, recognising our commitment to inclusive, accessible digital experiences.
The project aimed to create more inclusive ways for users to engage with content, especially the 24% of the UK population living with a disability. We focused on maintaining WCAG 2.2 AA compliance while introducing AAA-level features like an Easy Read format, developed in collaboration with A2i and a British Sign Language (BSL) translation tool using the Signapse plugin. These enhancements significantly improved accessibility for users with learning difficulties and the Deaf community. We also implemented the Recite Me toolbar for text-to-speech, translation, and styling options. By combining technical innovation with inclusive design, we helped Smart Energy GB reach more users and advance their mission to ensure no one is left behind in the smart meter rollout.
