PERMISSIONING IN OFFICE 365

Permissioning in Office365 can be highly convoluted and confusing. Within Microsoft Teams there are two user roles: owner and member. By default, the user who creates the channel is automatically given owner status.

 

In addition, owners and members have moderator capabilities for a channel. Team owners also have the job of setting up permissions for guests, and don’t forget about app permissions policies, that control what apps are available to Microsoft Team users in your organisation. Complicated isn’t it!
