ClerksWell’s client Smart Energy GB have won their second Digital Impact Award!
Smart Energy GB and ClerksWell won silver for ‘Best use of digital from the energy and utilities sector’ in 2016.

This year Smart Energy GB won Gold with their advertising partner AMV BBDO for ‘Best use of digital from the energy and utilities sector’. Recognition for their work for a second year running!

By tapping into an existing consumer conversation, Smart Energy GB were able to cut through nationwide energy indifference to increase conversations on energy wasting behaviour by 600%, drive awareness of smart meters as the solution and hopefully change some bad habits along the way, too.

The Digital Impact Awards sets the industry-wide benchmark in digital stakeholder engagement. The event honours the best corporate digital communications work in Europe. The Digital Impact Awards are the UK’s largest celebration of digital work in corporate communications.


Smart Energy GB is the national campaign for Britain’s smart meter rollout. The website has been designed to help them realise their goal of delivering a high impact digital experience which supports the scale of the project and is available to a wide range of diverse audiences.
