Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager accustomed to managing medium sized web and intranet builds, specifically Content Management Systems (Sitecore and Umbraco) and SharePoint. You will have experience of managing the entire project lifecycle, a good technical understanding and have come from a development background. This role is client facing and you will have experience of business analysis and writing functional specifications.

Core responsibilities
  • Day-to-day running of multiple projects for clients through the entire project lifecycle, within budget and set timescales
  • Gathering client and user requirements and defining and writing proposals and functional specifications
  • Support the pre-sales process with high level scoping, planning and consultancy
  • Management of project teams
  • Resource management
Core competencies
  • Ability to manage project discovery phase, liaising with clients and users, facilitating workshops and documenting user requirements
  • Ability to scope, plan and budget projects
  • Ability to manage all project activities including risk and issue management
  • Ability to give sufficient input into or facilitate the technical analysis of the project
  • Ability to work with Account Managers, keeping them informed of any problems
  • Ability to supervise all those in the team, applying hands-on management when necessary
  • Ability to foster a successful team-working environment whilst also helping to motivate individuals
  • Ability to ensure that all projects are executed within budget, to time and to high standards
Candidate requirements
Essential
  • Graduate calibre, with several years’ experience of project management, including experience of managing external client projects
  • Project management experience of some or all of web content management, e-commerce and integration projects
  • Experience of Intranets and websites
  • Good communicator, able to work and adapt in a fast-moving industry and environment
Desirable
  • Project management experience of Microsoft SharePoint projects
  • Experience of working within digital agencies
  • Experience of working with Microsoft SharePoint and / or Sitecore and / or Umbraco
  • Understanding of web technologies, systems and architecture
  • Accreditation in, or demonstrable understanding of a recognised project management methodology such as PRINCE2

Account Manager

We are looking for an account manager who excels in relationship building and client management at the highest levels. A team player, you will be prepared to work across multiple projects and clients, working to win new business and strengthen long term contracts.

Your understanding of the digital media industry gives you the knowledge and competence to handle prestigious accounts at boardroom level and lead your team, including a range of specialist and technical staff. You will have managed large accounts either during projects from both a public-facing website and intranet prospective.

You take the initiative in business development and can confidently work in partnership with senior management and technical teams to identify new opportunities and areas of growth. You are excited about evolving your role, taking on new responsibilities as they emerge and at your own innovation.

Core responsibilities
  • cultivate long-term client relationships
  • control all aspects of account management, including close contact with the client and financial accountability
  • produce accurate revenue forecasts for new and existing clients
  • create, develop and own strategic and tactical plans to help your clients achieve their objectives
  • negotiate project renewals and contracts
  • produce high-quality reports for your clients as well as reports and presentations to senior management and proposals/pitches to prospective clients
  • develop relationships with our strategic partners and third parties
  • listen to the needs of the market and clients and share your knowledge internally
  • develop your own networks across the client organisation
  • take advantage of all opportunities to network with industry peers and prospective clients
  • clearly communicate client and budget issues to senior management
  • work with the marketing department to promote our achievements
  • secure and exceed revenue targets of £800k per year
Essential requirements
  • 2+ years’ experience in client management or marketing (digital/internet)
  • Experience of managing your own team and indirectly managing technical and creative staff
  • Graduate calibre – ideally a marketing, media and communications or relevant degree
  • Impeccable communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to bring and convey knowledge and have a keen hunger for learning
Desirable
  • SharePoint/ Sitecore/ Umbraco sales experience
  • Mobile expertise
